Senior Housing Options Celebrates its 30th Anniversary in 2009!

   

“WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM OUR FRIENDS"

 

SHO residences had wonderful celebrations for National Assisted Living Week.  It was a great opportunity to make merry and remember how important SHO services are to our 500 residents.

 

Now we could really use a help with an “opportunity” of another kind.  We all are aware of the economic problems Colorado is experiencing.  Alas, SHO has become a victim. 

 

We just learned that beginning this month, for the first time ever our Medicaid reimbursements have been cut.  We’ve weathered years where there were no increases, but never a cut. 

 

We will not let this cut diminish our core services and loving environment, even a little bit.  But more than ever, we could really use your help in providing dollars for those “extras” that will be harder to provide.  These include things we all take for granted:  over-the-counter medications, co-pays, eye and dental care, and fun things like movies and parties.  We want to make sure our residents have a quality of life they can enjoy.

 

So if you can find even a little to spare, we would truly appreciate assistance.  We know, in the words of the immortal Beatles, “we’ll get by with a little help from our friends”!  Thanks!
