Wade Clark brings more than 20 years of experience in Human Services. Before joining SHO, Wade spent over 10 years doing Project Management and contracting for numerous federal Agencies. Including multiple Programs focused on providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Handling every aspect of the contracts from the bidding process through hiring, training, and ensuring a successful outcome for the employees, the employer and facilities was a challenge he enjoyed. Meet Michael a resident of the Olin Hotel Apartments, one of Senior Housing Options’ subsidized apartments.
This 73-year-old man ended up homeless, spending his days in the library and nights on the buses to stay warm after losing his job then subsequently his apartment.
Michael found the Olin and has been able to make it his home. He now has stability and can focus on more than where he’s going to find security for a single night.
He’s managing his health and looking for ways to help others.
While Michael is an extraordinary man who is compassionate and funny, his story of struggle is not unique. It’s because of residents like Michael that Senior Housing Options is dedicated to providing and promoting quality, affordable housing and caring supportive services for older adults in Colorado.
