Katie joined Senior Housing Options in 2024 as Director of Finance and Accounting. She is strategic in financial operations and joins the team with 14 years of experience. Most recently, Katie was the Manager of Property and Restaurant Accounting for Sage Hospitality. Prior to this, Katie was the Accounting Manager for Energy Real Estate Solutions, where she established the property accounting department and led the team through several successful system implementations.
Katie received her formal education from the University of New Mexico, where she earned her bachelor’s degrees in art history and psychology. She then continued her education in business accounting at the University of Wisconsin.
Katie is a detail-oriented individual with a sunny disposition! In her free time, she enjoys traveling and a variety of arts and crafts, such as crocheting, creating greeting cards, and painting. Katie also enjoys spending time with her pugs, Steve and Frankie, and volunteers with Colorado Pug Rescue. She has lived in the Denver area for 11 years and is originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico.
