Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE)
PACE is a Medicare/Medicaid managed care system that provides health care and support services to persons 55 years of age and older. The goal of PACE is to assist frail individuals to live in their communities as independently as possible by providing comprehensive services depending on their needs.
PACE serves the needs of individuals who are able to safely live in a community or home setting but who are at-risk for nursing home placement without a range of services. The PACE programs also pays for Assisted Living and Nursing Homes when needed.
