Susie Stebbins

Susie Stebbins has been with Senior Housing Options since November of 2017.  She has been in the field of Human Resources (HR) for over 8 years, and started her HR career managing and auditing benefit accounts for several organizations.  She received her Bachelors of Science degree from University of Wyoming in Molecular Biology and Medical Microbiology and had a minor in Chemistry.  Prior to her career in HR, Susie worked several years as a caregiver and Certified Nurse Assistant for home health and assisted living centers.  In 2017, Susie was excited to join the Senior Housing Options (SHO) team, and was excited that she was still going to be in the presence and environment of caring for people, as well as being in the her desired career path in Human Resources.  She was also able to bring her years of prior experience of working in 24-hour care facilities to aid SHO in their 24-hour assisted living facilities.  In her spare time, Susie loves spending time with family, reading,  going to concerts and cultural events, and cooking.  She is currently working on obtaining her Master’s degree in Human Resources Management with a specialization in Organizational Development.  She is also a proud wife and mother.

Meet Michael

Meet Michael a resident of the Olin Hotel Apartments, one of Senior Housing Options’ subsidized apartments.

This 73-year-old man ended up homeless, spending his days in the library and nights on the buses to stay warm after losing his job then subsequently his apartment.

Michael found the Olin and has been able to make it his home. He now has stability and can focus on more than where he’s going to find security for a single night.

He’s managing his health and looking for ways to help others.

While Michael is an extraordinary man who is compassionate and funny, his story of struggle is not unique. It’s because of residents like Michael that Senior Housing Options is dedicated to providing and promoting quality, affordable housing and caring supportive services for older adults in Colorado.
