Over 700 People Visit The Barth Hotel For Doors Open Denver:
150 Years of City Architecture

During the weekend of April 12th - 13th, over 700 people visited The Barth Hotel as part of the city's Doors Open Denver: 150 Years of City Architecture. Visitors learned about the history of the building and how its serves as a unique setting for its current use as an assisted living facility.

The Barth was designed 126 years ago by architect F.C. Eberly who designed the Tivoli Union in Denver. After its original use as Union Liquor Warehouse, the building became a hotel in the late 1800's. Until it was purchased by Senior Housing Options in 1980, the building was designated the oldest continuallyused hotel in the city.
