Louis came to the SHO in February 2017 and serves as Interim Director of Accounting and Finance and brings considerable experience in transition management across many industries. Additionally, he brings specific financial management experience in long term care and healthcare industries from organizations operating in Illinois, Florida, Minnesota, New Mexico and Colorado. He moved to Denver with his family in 1995 from Chicago to advance his career in accounting and financial management. In Denver, Louis has served in senior financial leadership roles at the Stapleton Development Corporation and the Downtown Denver Partnership group of entities. These local experiences provided a ringside seat to the City’s international award winning and nationally recognized dynamic growth and development.
In this interim role, Louis will contribute accounting and financial guidance and oversight to the SHO as well as each of its operating properties. His career experience in budgeting, financial reporting, audit management will serve the transition needs of the SHO while also reviewing and revising policies to meet future needs.
In his personal time, Louis enjoys motorcycle touring, map reading and collecting, fly fishing, biking, hiking, gardening, reading and writing. He has passion and skill understanding the stories that numbers tell and looks for opportunities to share what he sees with those not so taken with numbers.
