I have been with SHO for over 16 years as the Director of our seven Assisted Living Residences.  My role is to provide management support to administrators and staff through implementation of quality improvement activities, training, and monitoring all facets of compliance.  My goal is to assure the highest practicable quality of life for every resident who lives in a SHO community.  I previously worked in long term care management for sixteen years before beginning my current position.

I entered the health care arena in 1981 as Medical Records Supervisor and then worked for two years in marketing and admissions. As an Activity Director, I was able to coordinate a program to meet the needs of 240 residents, incorporating an array of volunteer services, and provided consultation to other nursing facilities. I was also elected Activity Director of the Year by the Colorado Health Care Association in 1988.

I have two grown children and love to travel, practice yoga and garden.
